１．授業の目的
生物多様性の保全・保護に関心のある学生を対象にし、各自が抱える研究課題などの具体的事例を解決していくために、数理（生態）モデルを修得・活用し、エンドポイントの設定からリスク評価、管理を行うことができるまでを目的とする。http://ecorisk.ynu.ac.jp/matsuda/lecture/casestudy.htmlから詳しい内容、用いる資料を閲覧、落手できる。受講者の研究課題をもとに数理モデルを作成し、リスク評価・管理の考え方を整理する．その準備のために、松田の最近の委員会などで関与している事例を紹介し、科学者が社会に対してどのような提言を行うべきかをともに考える。

４．履修目標の例示
管理（事業）目的，数値目標，エンドポイント，合意形成の設定方法，それらに必要な数理モデルの開発技術，リスク評価，リスク管理，リスクコミュニケーションの方法を習得する．自然再生事業指針（松田・矢原ほか），生態系保全のための十の戒め（松田，理科教室2004年2月号）を具体的事例に基づいて習得する
５．授業方法についての説明
講義中およびEメールでの質問を受け付ける（メーリングリストで返答・議論する）．2週目および最後の数週間は各自の研究発表に当てる．各週に用いる数理モデル（おもにExcelファイル）ほかの情報はhttp://ecorisk.ynu.ac.jp/matsuda/lecture/casestudy.htmlに掲載する．
６．履修条件および関連科目
履修条件：なし、「リスク分析論」と講義内容が重複しないようにしている。
７．成績評価の基準
成績は、小レポートの提出状況と期末テストの結果を総合評価する。

We will introduce environmental issues that students faces or knows in their home countries and discuss how to manage them.
